Dr Fede’s skills and expertise are Nanomaterials, Material Characteristics, Fascia, Cells, Cell Culture, Immunohistochemistry, PCR, Cytotoxicity, Cell Viability.
Her research focuses on the molecular and biomechanical aspects of the fasciae, including how they change in response to specific stimuli. She has conducted research on the development of fetal fascial reinforcement and the innervation of human superficial fascia. Caterina Fede has also given presentations on the subject of fascial manipulation and how sex hormones can affect the fasciae.
She has authored more than 50 research articles.
